A typical day
Depending on the dog’s needs, happy to play as gentle or energetic as required. Going for walks in their preferred park and playing with their favourite toy is something that brings me joy.

Cat care experience
I am a former pharmacist and formulation scientist now working in Regulatory and compliance; always keen on doing things properly and efficiently. Detail oriented and orderly, with a passion for wellbeing, for all living things. Love animals, nature, plants. Had pets as a child, mostly cats so I am very used to their way of being. Sometimes I cat sit Gravy, my friend’s cat. I moved in with a friend owning a cat so we “co-parented”, I was involved in her care and participated in the costs also. When she got ill due to old age I administered medication and made sure her remaining time was comfortable and she felt loved. Now I also own a kitten and my housemate is just as involved in caring for her as I was with his cat, Cleo.

Alex looked after my cat Cleo on many occasions before becoming my housemate and 'co-parent' to her and I cannot recommend her enough as someone to look after anyone's pets - she now spends more time being attentive towards my precious little monster than I probably ever have, which is no small statement. She has a wonderful way with all animals and is a generally caring, considerate and reliable person who can absolutely be relied on with the care of pets and associated trust and responsibility of pet-sitting, I'd recommend her without a moments hesitation.
Alex was an absolute star. She took very good care of our fur babies with regular updates and photos. We had to travel under difficult circumstances and Alex took away the stress of leaving our 2 cats. 100% recommend Alex for her care and thoughtfulness.
Flexible and very understanding. I do recommend and will for sure request her help in future.
