Before a booking I ask owners to let me know their pet’s feeding routine, walking schedule, temperament, and any behavioural triggers (for example anxiety, pulling on the lead, or not getting along with other animals). Please also tell me about medication, allergies, vet details, and emergency contact information. I also like to know sleeping arrangements and any house rules so I can keep your pet’s routine as normal and comfortable as possible.
A typical day
My day is centred around the pet’s usual routine so they feel settled while their owner is away. This includes walks suited to their energy level, playtime, feeding at their normal times and companionship so they do not feel anxious. For cats I provide feeding, litter cleaning and gentle interaction at their pace. I aim to keep everything as normal and stress-free as possible.
