I think what sets me apart is that I really care about making pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow their normal routine and give them whatever attention or space they need. I’m patient with younger pets who may need extra supervision, playtime, or help getting into a routine, and I’m also comfortable giving senior pets the slower pace and extra attention they may need. I’m responsible, dependable, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. My goal is for both the pet and their owner to feel comfortable and confident while they’re apart.

I’m happy to care for pets in my home or in a client’s home, depending on what works best for the pet and their owner. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and time for walks or play. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make an effort to keep the pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll also follow any specific instructions the owner provides so their pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits really well into my routine because I work part-time and I’m an online graduate student, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m able to work pet care into my day for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins without having to rush. I also enjoy having a reason to step away from schoolwork and spend time with animals, so pet sitting is something I genuinely look forward to.
