Cat care experience
I am a massive cat person - the kind that MUST say hello to any cats I meet out and about. After the devastating and unexpected loss of my own cat Frasier last year, I have a paw-shaped hole in my heart. I miss having cats in my life, so I am excited to meet & care for your gorgeous cats as if they were my own. I have also previously homed and loved 3 gorgeous male cats in a foster-setting. I’m freelance at the moment, and so have plenty of flexibility. I was previously a civil servant up until last year when I left my role for health reasons. I cannot think of a better way to spend my time than caring for cats! I would be delighted if you would like to meet and discuss your cat(s) needs to discover if I might be a perfect fit as their cat sitter. [I have a senior Pomeranian dog at home; obviously she wouldn’t attend any cat sitting visits with me but this is why I can’t offer overnight stays]

Helena has been an absolute star, being incredibly responsive and helpful, and most importantly an amazing cat sitter. Our cat Pippin can be a little shy but she's clearly warmed to Helena very quickly and remembers her from one visit to the next. We can't recommend Helena enough.

Helena has been very communicative and punctual for Kiwi’s mealtimes, and has been very helpful and great with following instructions. Kiwi also loved having someone over and I felt reassured knowing that someone was there to socialise with her!
