I have taken early retirement from my role as a social worker...I have also moved into a 2nd floor apartment....which means I can no longer have a kitty.... although I am considering a house cat....L do feel a cat needs freedom to go out though...so maybe a bit selfish!!!....I so miss not having a kitty....I just love cats!!!!...one of my son's who recently married, has taken on our Tiggs the family cat....as she is used to going out....she did settle in my new place, but I felt mean...the fact that she could only go on my balcony...I think being 16 years old she needed a happy retirement too!!!..I of course get to still see her loads and mind her when they are away....I also do volunteering at my local animal shelter...so I get my kitty cuddles there too!!?! .
