Safety, trust & environment
Your cat’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are my top priorities. In your home, I carefully follow your cat’s normal routine to minimise stress and keep things familiar. I’m experienced in administering medication, monitoring wellbeing, and recognising signs of illness or distress. I always provide daily updates and photos/videos for peace of mind.
Information Gabrielle M. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your cat, I arrange to visit you and meet your cat so we can go through some forms, and I can learn about their routine, personality, likes and dislikes, feeding schedule, medical needs, and any behavioural quirks or anxieties to make sure we're the right fit.
A typical day
Every cat is different, so I tailor my care to their unique personality and needs. A typical visit may include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playtime with favourite toys, grooming (if they enjoy it!), and plenty of affection - or respectful quiet company for more independent or nervous cats. I am also happy to take care of anything within the house, such as watering plants and taking bins out.

Reliable Cat Sitting in Chelmsford
Cat care experience
Hello! I’m Gabrielle (or Gaby) and I have always been a huge cat lover! From 2020 to 2022, I worked in a busy animal hospital as a certified ISFM cat-friendly veterinary care assistant - in that role, I gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for cats of all different breeds, temperaments and attitudes! This gave me a strong understanding of feline behaviour, handling, health monitoring, and how to help even the most nervous cats feel as safe and as comfortable as possible. From 2022 to 2025, before becoming a student nurse, I had the privilege of working full-time as a professional cat sitter with Cat In A Flat, supporting many wonderful cats and their owners. This experience further developed my confident and knowledge when it comes to feline behaviour and providing reliable, compassionate, tailored care in clients' homes. Alongside this, I fostered cats in my own home for the RSPCA for three years, including cats with behavioural challenges and medical needs, which further developed my experience and and understanding of individual feline personalities. I also have a certificate from The College of Animal Welfare in the Principles of Animal First Aid. Whether your cat is playful, shy, elderly, on medication, or simply likes things done their way - I’m committed to providing calm, personalised, cat-centred care so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
Reviews
Gabby was amazing and my cats loved her. Came home to two happy and relaxed cats and they seemed happy throughout ❤️ updated with pics on each visit
Gaby was completely reliable, she kept me updated at all times. It was a tricky ask in that she came to give my elderly cat liquid medication twice a day. Knowing she was coming in made my weekend away much more enjoyable. I would have no hesitation recommending her or using her again. Thank you from me and Pedro xx
Gaby was amazing as always. She took such great care of Sherbs and my two new kittens, giving them all lots of love and fuss. Gaby is just an angel. Thank you!
Gaby was brilliant with Sherbs again. She took great care of him and the house while I was away. She is the kindest and sweetest person and adores cats. We don’t know where we would be without her. Thanks again Gaby.
