Hi! I’m a caring and reliable pet lover based in Newcastle 🐾 My family and I previously had a Golden Retriever who was part of our family for almost 16 wonderful years. Sadly, he passed away in 2018 due to old age, a stroke, and lung cancer. His loss was incredibly heartbreaking for all of us because he truly was a beloved member of our family ❤️ That experience taught me how important pets are to a family, and how much love, patience, and responsibility they deserve. Now that time has helped us heal, I would love to use my experience and passion for animals to help care for other people’s beloved pets — including cats 🐱 I started caring for our dog when he was only 2 months old and looked after him throughout every stage of his life until he was nearly 16 years old. Because of this, I understand the different needs of young, adult, and senior pets, including giving them comfort, attention, patience, and companionship. I also spent time studying pet behaviour and dog training through self-learning and reference books. In Hong Kong, I successfully obtained the qualification for exemption control requirements for large dogs with my own dog and later achieved excellent results in pet obedience competitions. In addition, I have been around cats since I was very young. My grandmother was also a big animal lover and had two cats and one dog at home while I was growing up. Because of this, I became familiar with cats from an early age and learned how to understand and interact with different animal personalities naturally 🐾 Although my previous hands-on experience was mainly with dogs, I genuinely love cats as well and understand that every cat has their own unique personality. Some cats love attention and playtime, while others prefer quiet company and personal space.
