Cat sitting is my full-time job, so my entire schedule is dedicated to my kitty clients. I’m available 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays. My routine is focused on drop-in visits during the mornings, and I’m available for house sitting and overnights for the rest of the time. I don't offer double drop-in visits (morning and evening); if you feel your cat needs that extra level of company while you're away, I always recommend booking a house sit or overnight stay instead. I find this is much better for the cat's well-being and helps us bond much quicker. The only thing I require for all bookings - both drop-ins and house sitting - is guaranteed parking. Whether that’s a driveway, a dedicated bay, or a visitor’s permit, I just need to know I’ll have a spot for my car when I arrive. As long as that’s sorted, I can focus entirely on looking after your cat!

Safety, trust & environment
DBS Checked. I don’t offer boarding at my flat because I’m a firm believer that cats are much happier and more confident in their own familiar environment. My goal is to keep their routine exactly as it is when you’re there, so they feel safe and settled. What I do during every visit: Every time I visit, I make sure the essentials are perfect: I clean food and water bowls (or fountains), refresh their food, and keep the litter tray spotless. Beyond the basics, I tailor my time to what your cat actually enjoys. If they love attention, they’ll get plenty of play, grooming, and all the cuddles and kisses they want. Respecting their space: The most important rule for me is that everything happens on the cat’s terms-always. If you have a shy kitty who prefers to hide, I won’t force an interaction. I’m happy to just sit nearby and keep them company from a distance until they feel ready to come out. Whether I’m there for a quick morning drop-in or staying overnight, I treat your home with total respect and keep you updated throughout so you know everything is running smoothly.
Information Jenny W. would like to know about your pet
To give your cat the best care possible, I like to have a clear picture of their personality and daily routine. Before we start, please let me know about any medical conditions, allergies, or specific dietary requirements they have. It’s also helpful to know if they are currently on any medication or if they have any "quirks" I should look out for. I do ask that all cats are up to date with their vaccinations and flea/worm treatments for everyone's safety. Finally, I’ll need your vet’s contact details just in case of an emergency-it’s always better to have that information ready and not need it than the other way around!
A typical day
When I arrive, my first priority is checking in on your cat to see how they're feeling. Once we've said hello, I get to work on the essentials: cleaning their food and water bowls, putting out fresh meals, and making sure the litter tray is spotless. I always keep an eye on their "output" during cleaning, as that’s usually the first sign if a cat is feeling under the weather. I also make sure their main activity areas are tidy and wiped down. Every visit includes dedicated time for play, grooming, and plenty of cuddles and kisses. I love bonding with my feline clients and making sure they feel loved while you’re away. Of course, I always follow their lead-if I’m looking after a shy cat, I’ll spend that time sitting quietly nearby so they have my company and affection without feeling overwhelmed or rushed.

Reliable, Caring & Dedicated Sitter
Cat care experience
Cats have been a huge part of my life for a long time. Losing my own cat to FIP six years ago was heartbreaking, but it’s what pushed me to learn more about feline health and start volunteering as a cat carer with Cats Protection. Working there taught me so much about reading cat body language and caring for all kinds of personalities—from the super-shy ones to the "bossy" seniors. I’m not the type of sitter who just pops in to fill a bowl and leave. I’m very observant and patient. I once noticed a regular client’s elderly cat was slightly off-balance and just wasn’t acting like his usual self. I flagged it to the owners immediately, and it turned out he had a neurological condition. Thankfully, because we caught it early, he was able to get on the right meds. That’s the level of attention I bring to every visit. A bit about the practical stuff: Medication: I’m very comfortable administering oral medications (tablets or liquids). While I have handled injections before, I’m still building my confidence there, so I’m happy to discuss specific needs to see if I’m the right fit for your kitty. Senior & Specialist Care: Whether it’s extra grooming, monitoring health changes, or just giving a senior cat the quiet company they crave, I’m happy to accommodate. Patience is Key: If your cat is nervous around new people, I’m more than happy to just sit on the floor and let them come to me in their own time. I know how hard it is to leave your cat in someone else's hands, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos/videos and let you know exactly how they’re doing while you’re away.
Reviews
Jenny is exceptional. She has cat sit for me many times and my cat adores her. She adheres to the exact instructions (ie: times to feed and how much to feed) that you provide for her. She's is incredibly attentive to my cat and she provides lots of love and cuddles and lots of playtime, making my cat much more relaxed and trusting of her. My cat (Luna) recognizes her and is always happy to see Jenny. I don't have any problems with Jenny and I will only ask her to help cat sit.
