Pet care is a consistent and important part of my week. I schedule regular walks, visits, and check-ins at times that work best for each pet’s routine. When caring for cats, I follow their feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, and provide quiet companionship. Dogs get attentive walks or playtime, with plenty of patience and encouragement. I prioritize consistency, so pets feel safe, comfortable, and supported while their owners are away.

I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a kid and have years of hands-on experience caring for both. I regularly cat sit for friends, including senior cats who require specialized food and medication, and I’m very comfortable following detailed care routines. I’m patient and encouraging with dogs and focus on calm, consistent care. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or house sitting, my goal is to provide dependable, low-stress care so both you and your pets feel comfortable and supported.

This is the best cat sitting experience I have ever had. Even when I’ve had friends or family check in on my baby in the past no one has ever been this communicative, detail oriented, and naturally supportive. My cat can get a little feisty and Mattea was so sweet and kind to her. She warmed up and they played every visit. She did things I usually have to ask or remind people about without me mentioning it and sent so many photos which helped ease my mind while on my work trip. If I could give more stars, I truly would.
Mattie Landrum was the very best pet sitter we have ever had for our little chihuahua Jack Benny. She absolutely loves animals and is as kind and gentle as they come Our little Jack Benny never wanted her to leave even after the sitting was over! The Best and kindest pet caregiver ever!!
Mattea has watched our FIVE cats many times and will again. :) They are all on separate food and require twice a day feeding. She makes sure that they do not get to each other's food, too. She always arrives on time and stays with them to make sure they eat and have a little interaction. She always takes pictures and videos to show us they're doing just fine. I have all the confidence she'd be a great sitter for Rover. Reliable and friendly.
