I am a cat lover, a scientist and do some volunteering as a cat cuddler. Cat sitting is not just a job but what I enjoy doing so both me and my clients would benefit. I am more than happy not just to feed them/do the necessary but to spend time with them and make sure they are well and happy. I understand cat body language and am knowledgeable about how to gently handle them. I have many years experience of owning a cat or looking after friends' cats. When I lived and worked away from home one of my landlady's 5 cats moved in with me while the others regularly visited me! My friends refer to me as a Cat whisperer or Dr. Dollitle etc as I love all animals, especially cats. Our last cat passed away in 2018. Though, she had a few health issues, she was very well looked after and made it to the grand age of 20 years 8 months and 4 days. In my spare time I volunteer in an animal sanctuary where I spend time with cats and help them to get used to human contact and be prepared for adoption.
