Availability
We would love to look after dogs from Thursday through to Sunday. I work from home on Fridays, which means I can provide plenty of company throughout the day and take dogs out for lunchtime walks as well as morning and evening exercise. We’re very relaxed when it comes to pets and are happy for dogs to be on the sofa and feel at home with us. Our day usually starts around 7am on work-from-home days and around 8–9am at weekends, so we’re well suited to dogs that enjoy an early start as well as those who prefer a slower morning. We’re happy to tailor activities to your dog’s needs, whether that’s long countryside walks, shorter local walks, trips to the park, or simply relaxing at home. If your dog is sociable and enjoys being out and about, we’d be happy to take them to dog-friendly pubs or restaurants. Equally, if they’re more of a homebody, we’re more than happy to spend cosy evenings on the sofa with plenty of attention and cuddles.

We live in a spacious one-bedroom ground-floor apartment in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, with easy access to several local parks and walking routes. We enjoy getting outdoors and regularly go on walks around the local area, and we also have a car, which means we’re able to take dogs on longer walks to larger parks or out into the countryside if they enjoy exploring further afield. We’re very flexible and like to tailor our routine to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether your dog prefers a quick stroll around the block, a trip to the park, or a longer adventure, we’re happy to play it by ear and do what makes them happiest. We’re very laid-back pet lover and want dogs to feel completely at home with us. We’re happy for dogs to be on the sofa and, if permitted by their owners, on the bed too. The apartment has hard flooring throughout, making it practical, easy to keep clean, and comfortable for dogs.

Cat care experience
I have been a cat lover all my life and have experience caring for cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Having grown up with cats, I understand that every cat is unique – some are playful and energetic, while others prefer a quiet cuddle and a comfortable lap. My most recent cat lived to the age of 20 and was a much-loved member of the family, giving me extensive experience caring for cats throughout all stages of their lives. I have also looked after cats for friends and family, including my sister’s Ragdoll cat, and am comfortable adapting to different routines and care requirements. Whether your cat is an indoor companion or an adventurous outdoor explorer, I will ensure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care while you’re away. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone trustworthy, and I will treat your cat as if they were my own.

Phoebe is a great person through and through. She has looked after my dog over the years and is great with her. I know when my dog is the care of Phoebe she is safe and loved and well looked after. Phoebe loves to take my dog for long walks and even when she isn’t looking after her she always asks to take her for a walk anyway. She is a great person and would be fantastic at taking care of other people’s dogs.
