Availability
I work flexibly from home, which means I can give dogs plenty of attention, company and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. Walks are already part of my daily routine with my Cockapoo, Poppy, so your dog will enjoy lots of care, playtime and companionship in a calm home environment. I’m available for walks, drop-ins and boarding throughout the week and weekends.

Poppy is very friendly and used to being around other dogs, children and visitors, so I understand the importance of making pets feel safe and at home. I’m currently completing my DBS checks and canine first aid training, and I’ll always provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind 💛

Cat care experience
I’ve always loved cats and know first hand that no two are the same. They all have their own little quirks, routines and personalities, and unlike dogs, you really have to earn a cat’s trust rather than expect instant cuddles! My own cat Boo was very much “my person only”, so I completely understand how important patience, calm energy and respecting boundaries can be. I’ve looked after cats for friends and family through feeding visits, company, playtime and home check-ins while owners are away. Whether your cat is confident and playful or shy and cautious, I’ll always take the time to let them settle at their own pace and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I’m calm, reliable and attentive, and I’ll always provide regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their cat is happy and well cared for 💛

Rachel looked after my dog Earl for me and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Poppy is one of the friendliest and best cared for dogs I know, and it’s obvious how much love and attention Rachel gives to every animal around her. Rachel has been absolutely amazing with my dog Bow. She’s a very nervous dog around traffic, runners and new situations, so I was quite anxious about finding someone patient enough to really understand her. Rachel approached everything so calmly and thoughtfully from the start. She initially did solo walks with Bow to help build trust and confidence, then slowly introduced Poppy with a meet and greet before progressing onto walking them together. The difference in Bow has honestly been incredible. Both Rachel and Poppy have such a calm, reassuring energy and Bow now absolutely loves her walks with them. It’s been so lovely seeing her confidence grow and watching her relax and enjoy herself more each time. I completely trust Rachel with Bow and would highly recommend her, especially to anyone with a nervous or anxious dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding ♥️ Jo
Rachel has been absolutely brilliant with Cooper. He’s a lovely dog, definitely high energy and can be quite nervous and reactive in new situations, so finding someone patient and calm around him was really important to me. From the start, both Rachel and Poppy made him feel comfortable and settled. Rachel has such a calm, reassuring way with dogs and she completely understands that not every dog is “easy” all the time. She’s incredibly patient, confident and attentive, and I could tell straight away that she genuinely cared about making Cooper feel safe and happy. What I love most is how naturally Poppy interacts with other dogs too. Cooper absolutely adores her and it’s been amazing seeing him relax, play and build confidence around both of them.
