Cat Sitter, Padfield
Hi! I’m a reliable and caring cat lover based in Padfield, originally from Leicester, and I’ve lived in the area for the past 11 years. I’m 43 years old and have spent many years looking after family pets, as well as long-term pet sitting jobs for two families who work away in London during the week. I currently have two beautiful cats of my own. Cheech is 20 and CJ is the baby of the family at 9years old. CJ is very loud, full of personality, and has somehow learned to mimic the owl outside our window — so I’m definitely used to quirky cats with big characters! I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your cat is shy, affectionate, playful, elderly, or just likes things done a certain way, I’m patient, attentive, and happy to adapt to their routine. I work weekdays from 9–5, but I’m available before and after work, can often make brief lunchtime visits if needed, and I’m also available for overnight stays. I’m also happy to administer medication if required. I will regularly update you on your pets throughout my stay and will always send photos, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe, and being well looked after. I’ll always make sure your cats get plenty of attention, care, fuss (if they want it!), fresh food and water, clean litter trays, and lots of reassurance while you’re away. Please feel free to get in touch with any enquiries, even outside of my stated availability times, and I’ll always do my best to help. I’d love to meet you and your cats!

I care for pets in their own home so they can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment with their usual routine, smells, and comforts. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, litter tray cleaning, medication, and any specific quirks or preferences their cat may have. I take time to build trust with each cat at their own pace, whether they’re confident and social or more shy and reserved. I never force interaction — I let the cat decide the level of attention they want, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed throughout my visit. I keep your home secure by being respectful, tidy, and mindful at all times, ensuring doors and windows are properly checked before I leave. I treat every home as if it were my own and every pet as if they were my own cats. You’ll also receive regular updates, including messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Rosemary provided excellent care for our cat Myles. He doesn’t like to be alone and gets stressed when we are away for a long time. Rosemary made sure to spend some extra time with him to calm him down. Excellent communication from the start. Rosemary sent us loads of photos to show how he is doing.
I’ve booked 5 sitters in the Glossop area through Cat In A Flat and Rosemary really stands out above the rest. She was bang on time every visit and stayed for the full hour, updates were descriptive and reassuring with great photos of both cats. Rosemary is the perfect mix of warm friendly and professional, you can tell she really puts the effort in to make friends with your fur babies, she got rare head butts and kisses off Hunter on her last visit! And managed to play with Nala (usually very elusive with strangers)! Rosemary will definitely be my first go to when we need a cat sitter again.

I did think I wouldn’t be able to go away now I have her but it’s been lovely to have a nice break knowing she was so well cared for! Rose has been my Cat sitter for the last 3 years. I work away in London once a week and Rose calls in first thing in the Morning and at dinner time to feed him. She always sticks to our agreed times, and sends me pictures every time she comes so I know hes ok. Even after 3 years she never misses a visit. I pay for a drop in service to feed my cat and change his litter, but Rose always stays until hes finished his food and spends extra time giving him cuddles. Charlies a very happy boy when I get home. I found Rose through a Facebook advert a few years ago, and shes been my sitter ever since x

Schedule
Working 9–5 in Glossop, but available mornings, evenings, and nights, with daytime availability during my breaks for visits, feeds, check-ins, and cuddles. Happy to accommodate any special requirements, including medication and personalised care routines.
