We only take dogs when I’m working from home to ensure someone is home at all times. I work from home every Monday, Friday and one other day either Tue/Wed/Thur. However, my work can be flexible so depending on my schedule I might be able to work from home 4 or even 5 days a week. We have our own dog so walking is very much part of our daily schedule. I love receiving photos and videos of my pet while away so I’ll make sure to do the same for you 🙂

Safety, trust & environment
Our flat is on the 1st floor (with elevator so great for senior dogs). We have plenty dog bowls and dog toys. We ensure one of us is home at all times when minding dogs so they’re never left unattended. I use Rover for our own dog so I totally appreciate how nervous it is leaving your dog with someone. That’s why I always want to meet and greet before hand. Plus it means our dogs can meet and ensure they get along 🙂

Information Shannon G. would like to know about your pet
Is any medication required or any known allergies /special diet requirements? Is the dog house trained? Is the dog neutered (helps us avoid taking an entire male when our dog is in heat)? How does your dog feel around other dogs? Is your dog allowed on furniture at home? If not, we’ll respect this to not cause confusion.
A typical day
We live right opposite Putney Heath which is perfect for walking the dogs. We usually bring our dog out for a short walk in the morning and lunch time, a longer walk in the evening after work and then again before going to bed. On weekends, we tend to go for a longer walk in Wimbledon common. However, when minding other dogs we adapt to whatever schedule/length of walks you usually have at home to minimise disruption.

Cat care experience
Hello! My name is Shannon. I’m a 25 yr old Irish/French. I work in retail marketing. I am an animal lover and have always grown up around pets. When I was a younger I volunteered at a veterinary clinic. Our family home has always had pets, from cats, labradors, turtles, rabbits and fish. I would love to help out by caring for cats in my local area so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Reviews

Shannon is a really lovely person. She went over and beyond to make sure our girls were happy. Cali, who's very shy, actually came out to meet Shannon! That is a miracle. She usually takes a couple of weeks to warm up to be new people. I will definitely rebook! Thank you Shannon.
Ive known Shannon for many years and would absolutely recommend her as a pet sitter. Shannon loves animals and has taken care of my cats and dogs on several occasions. She always brings them on long walks and could spend hours playing with them. When my pets are under her supervision I have complete peace of mind as I know she will take great care of them and treat them as her own.
Shannon loves animals and dogs in particular. Not only does she love dogs but she’s also really knowledgable about them. She had many herself and I never hesitate to trust her with my own fur babies as I know she will take good care of them.
Shannon has always been an animal lover. Since I’ve known her she has had 4 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, 1 turtle and several fishes. She always takes great care of them. She has a very kind heart and is passionate about animals. She loves to go for long walks with her labradors which are all very well trained. You can trust her beyond doubt. Your beloved pets will be in very good hands with her!!!
