I also like to know how they react to new people and whether they enjoy being brushed or prefer more space. The more I know, the more I can make them feel comfortable and cared for.
A typical day
I love keeping cats happy and engaged with activities that match their personalities. For playful cats, I’ll bring out toys for chasing, pouncing, and interactive playtime. For more relaxed or older cats, I’ll give gentle brushing, quiet company, and cuddles if they enjoy them. I also make sure they have fresh water, a tidy litter box, and a calm space to nap or watch the world go by.

I’ve been caring for cats for over three years and have two of my own, including one cheeky orange boy who keeps me on my toes. Because of him, I’ve learned to keep a close eye on curious cats and make sure they stay safe and out of mischief. I have experience looking after sick cats, including administering medication, water, and probiotics to a poorly kitten I hand-reared. I’m also confident handling cats with different personalities and good at conflict resolution between them. Grooming is part of my daily routine. I love keeping coats smooth and clean, and I pay attention to each cat’s comfort and mood. I’m passionate about feline wellbeing and often research ways to make cats’ lives happier and healthier, from enriching playtime to stress-free feeding routines. I’ll always care for your cats as if they were my own, with patience, love, and lots of cuddles (if they want them)
