I have a quiet, cat-friendly home with lots of hiding spaces and a garden with several trees. Each cat has their favourite toys and spot in the house, but these also vary. I usually avoid the cats access to the front door, in case they decide to run to the road.

A typical day
I'll ensure your kitty eats and drinks during my visit (if willing), and then we'll play a round of their favourite game, whatever that might be: chasing a mouse, playing with a serpent stick, hide and seek, going crazy with some valerian or catnip sachet, or just jumping into the old cardboard box.

Hi! I’m Sonia, a lifelong cat lover based in Plaistow/Upton Park. I am what it could be considered a cat-lady :), being the proud parent of 4 rescue cats (Cleo, Leo, Hannibal and Apollo) for the past 6 years. I offer maturity, reliability and a safe pair of hands with feline friends. I understand how stressful it can be to leave them behind. My goal is to keep your cat happy, safe, and stress-free in their own home while you are away. Other experience I offer: - I have a certificate in Small Animal First Aid - Currently doing an online course on Animal Welfare - I'm looking to become a veterinary nurse. During my visits, you can expect me to provide: - Quality playtime and cuddles - Fresh food and water, daily litter box scooping, and dose of medication if needed - Daily updates with photo/video Happy to meet up before you travel, as an opportunity for me to learn your cat’s routine and quirks. Sonia is professional, reliable, and genuinely cat-loving. After a rocky start on the first couple of days, our shy Martin came out of hiding to greet her all the following days, which says everything.
You can tell Sonia truly understands cat behaviour. Cosmo, our senior cat, was calm and comfortable the whole time we were away. We got photo and video updates and very prompt responses from Sonia every day.
Sonia looked after my two cats for 10 days while we were on holiday in Greece. Sonia is very friendly and kept great communication. Came home to a clean house and very happy cats. I would highly recommend Sonia to anyone looking to have a worry free holiday. 😊
