Cat sitter based in Northstowe
Hi, I’m Sophie 😊 I recently moved to Northstowe and work remotely for an app development company. I’ve been a lifelong cat lover, owner and trusted sitter for friends and neighbours. Sadly, I lost my much loved cat Alan a year ago, so I really value the extra love from my furry clients. Recently I’ve been fostering kittens! Which has been both fun and rewarding. I really enjoy using this platform and helping out locally, it’s nice to be able to give owners peace of mind knowing their cats are in safe hands. I’m reliable, extremely tidy and will always make sure your cats feels safe, happy, and loved, giving you regular updates along the way.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I’m respectful of your home, clean and tidy, and always stick to your cat’s usual routine. I’ve also previously house sat with cats, so I’m used to caring for them in their own environments. I’m very gentle and patient with cats, and I never force interaction or crowd them - I let them come to me in their own time. I won’t pick them up or do anything that might make them uncomfortable, and I always pay attention to their body language so they feel safe and relaxed.
Ratings and reviews
Sophie looked after our cat Gracie over the holidays and was a pleasure to deal with! Communicative, kept us updated with daily messages and pictures — we came home to a happy and relaxed kitty 💕 Many thanks Sophie!!!
Sophie was great. My cat Tilly completely agrees, and has told me how much she enjoyed being looked after by her. Plenty of nice updates and photos - altogether a good experience!
Best catsitter anyone can ask for! Good connection with the cat. Did everything we asked for and gave updates with great photos after every visit :)
We would highly recommend Sophie to care for your furry family members. She kept us updated with photos, messages and videos everyday, this made us more relaxed knowing they were in safe hands. She took time to spend with our male cat who is nervous of strangers. She didn’t push him and allowed him to come to her when he was ready. Thank you so much Sophie

Schedule
I work remotely, so I’m home most of the time and have a flexible routine. This means I can easily fit visits around your cat’s usual schedule. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to discuss what works best for you and your cat.
- Sophie can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know your cat’s usual routine, feeding schedule, and any preferences or behaviours I should be aware of. It’s helpful to know what they enjoy, what they might be nervous of, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. I’m also happy to tailor updates to what you prefer, whether that’s regular photos or occasional check ins. And if needed, I can help with small things like watering plants, putting out bins and bringing in post.
