I’m lucky to live right beside the Walthamstow Wetlands, one of London’s most beautiful green spaces and a dream for pets that love the outdoors. There are endless options for walks in every direction — peaceful canals, open fields, wooded trails, and lakeside paths. Whether your dog loves a good run or prefers a calm sniff and wander, I make sure every walk is enjoyable and full of stimulation. I’m currently between jobs, so I’m home full-time and able to give pets my full attention all day. There’s no being left alone for hours — just plenty of company, playtime, and genuine care. I really enjoy spending time with animals and always aim to make them feel safe, relaxed, and happy. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, with six cats and two dogs, so I understand how different each pet’s personality can be. From shy rescue cats to lively pups, I adapt easily to their needs and routines. I’m trained in pet first aid and CPR and can confidently give both oral and injected medications, so you can feel completely at ease while they’re with me. A typical day starts with a nice morning walk through the Wetlands or along the River Lea, followed by breakfast and a bit of rest. Later on, we might go for another walk, have a play session, or just relax together depending on what your pet enjoys most. Evenings are calm and cosy — perfect for winding down before bedtime. My goal is to make your pet feel genuinely cared for and comfortable, as if they were part of my own family. I treat every animal as an individual and make sure they get plenty of affection, exercise, and structure while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. My home is clean, calm, and fully pet-friendly, with no hazards or other animals to cause stress. I keep doors and gates secure at all times, and I only take on a small number of pets to make sure each one gets proper attention and care. I’m trained in pet first aid and CPR, confident giving both oral and injected medications, and always follow your specific instructions closely — whether it’s feeding times, walk routes, or any little routines that make your pet feel at home. Because I’m home full-time, pets are never left unsupervised. Walks are always on a lead unless you’ve approved an enclosed off-lead area, and I regularly update owners with messages and photos so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and loved! 😊😊

Information Thomas F. would like to know about your pet
It’s really helpful to know your dog’s routine, personality, and any quirks beforehand. Things like recall, reactivity, separation anxiety, feeding habits, or any medical needs. I’m very happy to work around most behaviours as long as I’m aware of them in advance. I’m best suited to friendly, well managed dogs and I’ll always be honest if I don’t think I’m the right fit rather than forcing something that isn’t fair on the dog.
A typical day
A typical day usually starts with a walk around Walthamstow Wetlands, letting dogs take their time sniffing and settling in. From there we’ll head towards Markfield Park, about a 15 minute walk, followed by a good 30 to 45 minute run around the park depending on energy levels. We then walk back home at a relaxed pace. During the day there’s plenty of downtime, company, and fuss, plus some simple indoor mental training and enrichment. I’m around all day and can easily add extra walks if your dog needs them.

Cat care experience
Hello! Im looking to earn a little extra cash whilst having some new free time, I had 6 cats growing up, I loved them and have looked after other friends cats over the 8 years I’ve been in London. I’m currently unemployed so I have lots of free time to help you out. I’m looking to get employed in Q1-2 next year so I’d use me whilst you can!
Reviews
Tom has looked after our chocolate lab, Flake, many times and we couldn’t ask for better. She’s always excited to see him and clearly feels completely at home. Tom treats her with real care, and it gives us total peace of mind. We’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog.
