I get absolutely overjoyed getting to meet my friends’ cats so you can imagine how ecstatic I was when, after years of convincing, I finally got my own at the age of 15. My tuxedo, Kiko ❤️ I didn’t let anyone help me while he was a kitten, I wanted to take that responsibility myself and we developed such a special bond (I was clearly his favourite). I would even put a present under the tree for him on Christmas and celebrated every birthday of his with a mini cat-safe makeshift cake. He was only with us for 5 years due to developing terminal kidney problems, but he will always have a special place in my heart. I am so grateful to have had to opportunity to care for and spoil him, and I would love to do that for cats who really need it while their owners are away. You can trust me to treat your cat with the same care as I would my own (including knowing when they just want to be left alone😂).
