Hello I'm Vickie and am the owner of three lovely cats. I have had cats and also dogs for most of my life and have many years of experience with my own pets and also family, friends and neighbours pets who I look after while they are away from home. I have worked for Catinaflat since they first started in 2015. I have a lot of experience in looking after very young, elderly and also sick animals and am comfortable giving oral/topical medication. I have a good understanding of many illnesses and medications due to having my own pets, and pride on educating myself so that I can care for them at home and give them the best quality of life possible. I am used to dealing with nervous and anxious cats, special needs and behavioural problems and can offer advice if required. I am also happy to advise on nutrition too. I really do love looking after animals and it is a joy to be able to offer a service which is becoming very popular. My visits are for 1 hour which include taking care of your cat just as you do and ensuring their individual feeding needs are met, giving them plenty of attention and cuddles to make them feel like they're not missing you too much and also include time for play and grooming. I will send you daily updates, photos and videos on every visit, so that you can enjoy your break and have peace of mind knowing your fur baby is happy and well looked after. I can take in your post, water plants and ensure windows and doors are locked, set alarms and generally make sure your pet and your home are completely safe. A bit about me, after 18 years of working in Education I decided to become a full time Petsitter, as I enjoy it so much and It is very rewarding to know that I am keeping someone else's pet happy and safe while they are away. I am passionate about what I do and always give 100% care and dedication to all my clients and their pets as I do with my own pets.
