Niall has been so good to our beloved Eddie! He has looked after him during the festive period and when we got back home we found and happy well groomed cat, Niall also went the extra mile making sure Eddie was happy and entertained, every cat is different and he understood what Eddie routines are and how he likes to play!

Just got home from a two week stay in the US whilst Niall took care of my cat Willa. I was nervous leaving Willa for so long, but Niall put me at ease. We had a meet and greet and I knew she would be in good hands. He provided me with regular updates and videos, gave Willa her medicine and came home to a happy cat!

Niall was utterly superb, from the meet and greet beforehand to the visits during our trip, including daily updates with photos and videos. One of our cats has issues with the litter tray and needs oral meds daily, Niall took it in his stride and was so reassuring. I would not hesitate to recommend him and trust him with our cats again.

Niall is absolutely fantastic. Really takes the time to get to know your cats. He provides plenty of play and cuddles with them as well as providing regular updates to their humans about how they are getting on. It’s the second time we have used his services and we highly recommend him.

Niall is an excellent and experienced cat sitter. We recently hired Niall to watch out for our cat Cleo while we were away on holiday. We were gone for 2 weeks and I was initially very worried about leaving Cleo at home for so long. Niall immediately put us at ease. Due to his work as a vets assistant and through his own experience as an owner of two cats we were happy to leave Cleo in his very capable hands. He kept us informed of how Cleo was doing while we were away, sending videos of her playing and cuddling. She looked very happy and was comfortable with him. However, the true test of a person is not how they handle themselves when things are easy but rather how the cope when things are hard. At around day 10 of our trip away, Cleo stopped eating (this was very worrying because Cleo ALWAYS eats). Niall informed us immediately of the situation and continued to monitor how she was doing. When she still did not eat the next day, Niall was able to use his skills to give her a preliminary examination, checking her temperature, and looking out for the usual symptoms she would exhibit if she had eaten something she shouldn't have. When he gave her the all clear but she still wasn't eating he called us and arranged for her to go and see our vet. The vet also could see nothing wrong with her in the usual sense and both Niall and the vet believed it was likely due to her having a bit of an upset stomach. Niall was fantastic during this time, not only putting up with my calls and texts to check on her, but also bringing her in other foods to eat and treats as well as visiting her more than we had booked him in for, just to monitor how she was doing. The sickness passed after another day and Cleo is back to being her old self again, but I am eternally grateful that we had a true professional like Niall looking out for her during this time. Not only did he prove that he is cool and calm in a crisis but he also showed a lot of love for our wee Cleo and we will definitely be using him again!

Niall is so lovely to our animals I don't think they miss us at all! He looked after our 4 rats and 2 rabbits. When we came home they had been cleaned thoroughly and they were very happy. Thanks Niall from Cooper, Quinn, Rex, Pinky, Elmo and Buddy 🐾

Niall house sat for us for 2 weeks whilst looking after our little old Charlie - and we wouldn’t have anyone else. He cared for Charlie as if he was his own, they are firm friends! Charlie was happy, healthy and clearly very well looked after when we got back - although I think his misses cuddles with Niall! House was in great order too and the communication with Niall was fantastic throughout. Fully, fully recommend Niall, he’s a great carer, very knowledgeable and made sure he had done his homework on how to look after Charlie before he came to stay - including all our little quirks! This is our first time using Cat in a Flat as we had to leave our cats for a month. Niall looked after them very well, despite one of our cats refusing to accept strangers. Niall was allowed to pet them very quickly which was very surprising. He updated us very often on their progress was clearly a hit with them. We are very grateful to Niall for looking after them and it's a no brainer to hire him again to look after them in the future!

He is the chosen one! My little lockdown-raised, socially inept furry child was safe and happy whilst I was away and even (eventually) let Niall pet her! He was great at staying in contact and putting me and ease as well as being a really lovely person that I was happy to entrust my home and kitty to! Thank you again Niall!

This was my first time finding a Cat sitter from Cat in a Flat & leaving our cat for nearly 2 weeks. Niall has been so great with Cloudy & so good at keeping us posted with pics & Cloudy’s daily routine. Niall was great - reliable, friendly and really cared for our 2 cats. I felt safe leaving them with him especially as he already knew them from his work at our vets. We came home to 2 happy well cared for cats. Niall is very good at seeing each cats individuality and treating them accordingly - eg one of our cats is very shy so he let her be, but the other cat is very confident and cuddly so he got lots of cuddles. Highly recommend Niall and we will use him next time we go away.

Niall looked after Charlie brilliantly! He had memorised our slightly ridiculous routines straight away and made a real effort to make friends with him. Niall even popped back on an extra hot day to check there was enough water and cool spots for him. We received regular updates and photos and Niall made sure he was doing everything in the best way.
