Experienced petsitter (with more than 20 reviews), homeowner, and animal lover

Thanks for checking out my profile! I am an experienced petsitter with more than twenty 5 star reviews from other platforms. I run a nonprofit and I am a researcher so I work from home and I will be available to play and cuddle with your pets basically all day. I am currently finishing and editing a second book and there is nothing better than having a cat on my lap while writing - granted that the cat will grant me the honour to let me have him/her on my lap and basically be his/her servant! I have plenty of experience handling anxious cats, and/or that require special medications/ treatments and in following exactly your instructions. You can have extra peace of mind if you leave your precious cat/s with me!

I graduated from Oxford University, and I am based in Oxford but I can travel anywhere in the UK as I have a car. I have experience in long-term petsitting (up to 7 months!) and I usually do long term housesits of minimum 2 days, but I am very flexible. I also own two beautiful houses in the vineyards in Italy and I had many guests staying over who enjoyed their stay, so I am an attentive and detail-oriented person and I know how important it is to take care of properties. I am a nonsmoker and I don't have pets of my own (that's why I love to take care of other people's pets!). I travel a lot for work and conferences and that is why I never had pets of my own, but if I could I would have so many pets - pets bring me so much joy and it would be my pleasure to take care of your furry ones.

Please note that often my partner, Anders may want to join me to petsit your animals (especially when he is visiting me as does not reside in Oxford), but in this way your animals would get double the love and care as he also works from home and is finishing his third book currently! He has a Phd from Harvard and an undergraduate degree in politics from Yale, but most importantly adores animals as well (and spoils them so much!). In fact we have more than 20 reviews available of us petsitting together and we have many recurring hosts on another platform who ask us back again and again (and we love seeing again pets we have petsat for as we form a bond with each of them). I completely understand if you'd rather not have him at your house so let me know if you are not comfortable with having him. So far everyone has loved the double level of attention and love that their pets have received from my partner and me.

You can have extra peace of mind if you leave your precious cat/s with me! I am confident around kittens, elderly cats, and even in giving and administering medications or even around cats that may need a bit of extra tender love and care such as rescues or with incurable diseases like cancer. No task is too onerous for me and I'd love to spoil your pet in your absence.
