Veterinary Assistant & Experienced Cat Sitter 🫡🩺

Hi! I’m Debora, a passionate cat lover and Veterinary Care Assistant with nearly two years of experience working exclusively with cats. My journey with cats started over a decade ago in Brazil, where I adopted my two beloved companions: Rengar, a sweet and gentle Siamese who's now almost 15, and Nami, a chatty and clever domestic shorthair who’s turning 12.

When I moved to the UK, bringing them with me was never a question — they’re family. Caring for them through all stages of life has given me deep, personal insight into feline behavior, senior care, and the emotional connection we have with our pets. My love for cats is what led me to work in animal welfare, and it’s also what makes me treat every cat I meet as if they were my own.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant at a feline-focused charity, I have experience with all kinds of cats — from shy and nervous rescues to playful kittens and seniors with medical needs. I’m trained in administering medication, giving subcutaneous injections, and spotting early signs of discomfort or illness thanks to my clinical background.

But beyond the medical skills, I truly enjoy connecting with cats through play, cuddles, and attentive care. Whether your cat needs calm companionship or active enrichment, I tailor my approach to their individual personality and needs.

Each visit lasts approximately 40 to 45 minutes, during which I provide everything your cat needs to feel safe and cared for. This includes refreshing water, feeding (and treats!) according to your instructions, cleaning the litter tray, playtime, cuddles, and administering any necessary medication.

Before the first visit, I’ll send over a short questionnaire to collect important information about your cat — such as their vet clinic details, emergency contacts, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, and any special preferences or routines. This helps me tailor the care to your cat’s needs and ensures I'm fully prepared in case of any unexpected situation.

I'm based in Wanstead Flats and currently cover the areas of Leyton, Leytonstone, Maryland, Stratford, and, depending on availability, Canning Town area, where I work - I am available to cover other areas of East London as well. I’m here to provide safe, loving, and knowledgeable care while you’re away — giving you peace of mind and your cat the comfort they deserve.
