Happy Cats - Cat Sitting by Chloe

Hi, it's nice to meet you!

My name is Chloe and I have been working as a professional Cat Sitter in Edinburgh since 2019, working independently and on Cat in a Flat. I first began Cat Sitting as I was unable to have my own cat living in a rented flat so it seemed like the perfect thing to do. I've been looking after cats my whole life, growing up with cats in my family, and then in 2016 I spent 6 months living and working at a cat rescue centre in Melbourne, Australia. During this time I worked with cats with all sorts of differing needs and this really helped me to learn how best to approach and take care of different cats to make sure they are as happy as possible.

Over the last few years I have felt really lucky to look after lots of Edinburgh cats and worked with their owners to ensure that every cat has all the love and care they need while their owner is away. Living sustainably is really important to me and so you'll spot me cycling between cats on my yellow bike Daisy.

I am happy to do 1x or 2x daily visits, overnights in the cats home or overnights with the cat staying in my home - whatever works best for each individual cat and this is something I can help you to decide. I have experience with administering different kinds of medication depending on your cat's needs. I will also take time to ask for your cats likes and dislikes and how and when they like to play or get cuddles as well as all the practical information about food and litter.

I also love to do what I can to take care of your home and keep things running smoothly while you are away to give you complete peace of mind. I am very happy to water plants and gardens, take out bins, open and close curtains and blinds and feed any other small pets you may have. Just ask for what you need and the answer will probably be yes! I always treat my cats, owners and homes with the utmost respect, just as I would wish to be treated.

I really worry when I’m leaving my cat and Chloe was able to put me at ease throughout the sit with updates and pictures showing care and affection. She watered my plants too!     Chloe is a very warm and enthusiastic person, and seemed to develop a relationship with Buttons straightaway. Throughout the 3 and a half days she was sitting, she sent photos and an update after every sit. We were very happy to have her, and would highly recommend her.

    Chloe has been absolutely incredible at taking care of our little fluffball, Izzy! After a 5 day trip, we came back to a relaxed and happy cat. Chloe provided many daily updates with lots of pictures, and responded really quickly to any messages from us! She even gave Izzy some new paper to play with!!!     I had never used Cat in a flat before I was really impressed with my experience. I was looking for a cat sitter 2 days before my last minute holiday and was lucky enough to find Chloe. She is lovely, reliable and kept me updated daily. Happy wee moggie on my return. Chloe also watered my garden which was fantastic. Would highly recommend Chloe.

    Chloe was amazing! She took very good care of my cat Mimì while my partner and I left for the weekend. Already when she visited we could see that she was going to be very gentle and considerate. I will certainly contact her again next time we are leaving!

    5 stars isn't enough for Chloe.

    From as soon as we dropped Bacon off to her, he was happy and purring. Our mind was at ease the whole time we were away thanks to Chloe's updates and photos of a clearly very happy cat.

    Will 10000% be asking Chloe to look after our cat again.

    Chloe was a really fantastic cat sitter for my wee cat. She was super helpful and My cat seemed very happy and relaxed with her. I also got wee videos and photos which were great! Definitely would recommend Chloe and will book her again!
