Mon - Thursdays I can do a morning and an evening visit before and after my main job. Fridays I can do morning visits before my main job and an evening visit would be fine as long as you're happy for my toddler to come (who's very good around pets and has joined me on visits since she was a few months old!) - However, if your cat is particularly nervous or doesn't like children, just let me know and we can discuss other options to suit you and your kitty! Saturdays and Sunday's I can be more flexible.

As a visiting cat sitter, each visit consists of feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, plus any play time and/or fusses! I am also more than happy to administer tablet medication either directly in the mouth or through food. I am also more than happy helping around the house such as watering plants/gardens etc.
Information Emily J. would like to know about your pet
If your cat/s need any medication, or any additional needs/medical conditions (even past), it's always good to know - especially if it's partnered with behaviours I need to be aware of. It's good to know if they have access to a cat flap and if it needs any locking during the night / if they're an indoor cat and extra care is needed at the door. If during a visit I notice any unusual behaviour I will always let the owner know!
A typical day
Depending on the nature of the cat will depend on the activities. For some cats, a lovely warm knee to sit on whilst having plenty of fusses is enough and for others chasing around a feather and having some good playtime is paramount! For the more nervous felines, I will take the owners lead - but I always like to try and have a soft and warm presence to hopefully encourage some trust during my visits. This could entail sitting in a room with them and just being a calm presence through to sitting in a different room and talking to them to try and get them used to me. Either way, I ensure I give them space but will always try and see them visually to ensure they're ok.

Reviews

Can’t recommend Emily enough! She took great care of my cat and kept me updated with messages and photos every day, which was really reassuring. Came home to a happy cat and relaxed cat. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again!
Emily was fab. She came to meet us and the cats before we went away and we had regular updates on them every day. They were well looked after. Thank you Emily 😊

Emily was amazing! Great communication, and met her before she looked after our little fur babies, which was reassuring as we had never left them with anyone other than family before. Emily is very friendly and gave us updates when she visited and even got our shy cat to come out of her shell! Would 100% recommend!
Emily was great with our nervous indoor cat. She updated me daily with photos and progress. House was left lovely and clean and tidy, considering we have a very messy eater/litter tray user. Will 100% use Emily again, highly recommended!
