About Me

😻Cat sitting in Lichfield and surrounding areas😻

I’m Louise and I live with my family on Boley Park in Lichfield. I love animals of all kinds - I have always had cats, rabbits, hamsters and fish from a young age so would be happy to look after other small pets too.

We currently have 2 young rescue cats of our own so appreciate that they are much happier at home than in a Cattery - and this cuts out the stress of the cat carrier! If I can help your cat remain safe and happy in their own environment whilst you are out / away then I would love to do so. You can tell me all their little quirks and personality traits and I’d be delighted to meet and care for your cats and kittens, and any other pets you may have in your home. I can send you photos and videos whilst you are away if you would like that, and will share updates after each visit.

I am comfortable administering medication if required by your pets - I would meet you beforehand to note all instructions, and get to know a bit more about you, your pets and their routines.

I work as a TA in a local school. I have plenty of time around school hours to visit your pets - school holidays and peak time availability work well too!

Sometimes I can accommodate visits further out of my catchment area, but that would depend on distance, (term time) work commitments and any existing bookings - please do just message and I’ll do my best to help.

Any questions, or queries, please just message me. I can bring in your post, bins, water plants and open / close curtains for extra peace of mind too - please just ask. Happy to help.

I’m happy to share cat sitting with your family members too to keep your costs down. When you are booking visits, there is an option to ‘skip a day’ or to just book one visit on a certain day. We can then discuss the timing of my visits on a message or when I meet you prior to the booking starting.

Happy to visit over the Christmas period if you are away for an extended portion of the day too - just message to discuss! There is a slight fee increase for Bank Holiday visits - £15 for one visit, or £22 for two visits I don’t charge ‘peak fees’ for any other holiday times (eg school holiday periods). Just the actual Bank Holiday day itself.

I would treat your cats exactly as I do my own - lots of cuddles and fuss, and talk to them as if they understand every word I’m saying. A typical visit is 20 - 30 minutes. I would ensure that food and water are replenished, dishes washed, litter trays freshened up, and time for play too. Your wishes for your cat(s) are my command! I also grew up looking after rabbits so could also attend to rabbits, Guinea pigs or rodents. We have previously had garden pond fish, and tropical fish in a tank. We currently have stick insects at home too. Just ask and I’ll be open and honest. Happy to cover Lichfield, Streethay and Whittington - further afield may also be possible.

    Louise is amazing. She sends lots of photos and messages to reassure us that everything is OK. We can tell that she really cares for our cats. One of our cats has a complicated medical regime and is also a bit tricky with taking her tablets. Louise takes it in her stride. We are very lucky to have Louise's help. Highly recommended.

    I am SO happy with the care that Louise took of of my cat, Lulu. As well as feeding her and cleaning the litter tray, Louise gave Lulu her medication, played with her and sent me lots of photos. I think when I returned Lulu was disappointed it was me and not Louise. I'm booking her again.
