About Me
Cat sitter in Barnsley
Hi, my name is Stacy and I am 32. I have owned cats since I was 3 years old. Over the years we have had countless cats and kittens through our house including semi ferals and bottle fed kittens. We have also adopted a 19 year old geriatric with a multitude of health problems, who we had for just over a year before her age and ailments sadly took her. In the past I spent 3 years working for the RSPCA Cruelty and advice line, and have volunteered with dog charities. I have 2 cats myself now, Loki and Sylvie. They are 1 and 2 and my best friends. I have a level 2 qualification in small animal care that covered cat first aid plus I have a dbs check due to work. I’m fully insured to cat sit outside of cat in a flat, and I have regulars who I’ve seen for years now. I thoroughly love cat sitting and seeing all my furry clients every single time. Trust me, their quirks are why I love this job.
I have also owned snakes, fish and lizards and have experience with caged birds and rodents. I am willing to feed/check on any caged friends you may also have. I also water plants, take the bins out, bring in parcels or whatever else is needed while I’m there.
I currently cover areas around Athersley-Barnsley, town centre and some of Wakefield. I work full time so my visits will be around normal 9-5 office hours, although I can be flexible with working from home and visiting during the day if required.
