I like to know vet details, emergency contact information, allergies, medications or special diets. I love to get to know each pets individual needs to make them as comfortable as possible so their usual routine and all the little quirks they may have.
A typical day
After taking care of needs such as litter change, feeding & any necessary medication the rest of the time can be spent spending time enjoying activities such as interactive playtime with feather wands & laser pointers and general cat toys, maybe with some catnip involvement. Puzzles dispensing treats is another good choice as is climbing cat towers and scratching posts. If your cat is more quiet and reserved then perhaps a cosy cuddle, a fuss and some grooming if they enjoy.

Hi. I’m Claire and I’m currently available for cat sitting in Weston super mare and surrounding areas. I’m a mum of 3 and have owned cats for over 15 years, at present we have our lovely cats Barbara & Teddy along with our dog Ronald. I also foster cats for Feline Fine Foundation and volunteer for the charity taking on duties such as cat cuddling and transporting. Currently fostering a 16 year old boy who’s enjoying his time with us before he goes home to his family. I’m very passionate about supporting this charity as much as possible. I’m DBS checked & am currently training in Feline health and first aid. I offer a drop in service to provide food, water, change litter trays and of course more than happy to keep your cat company with playtime and affection so they don’t feel lonely. I can send photos, videos and updates so you’re confident your cat is safe and happy. Also happy to provide additional services such as picking up post, putting bins out, watering plants or opening & closing curtains/blinds whilst you’re away if required. Very happy with Claire who looked after our Juni with food, litter and lots of play which is exactly what we wanted . Will definitely use her again in the future.
This is our second time using Claire and she has been brilliant looking after our three house cats. She dealt well with one of our cats who damaged his eye; managing to bathe it when he can be rather bad tempered with anyone other than us! The cats were all well fed and happy when we returned and the house was clean and tidy. Thank you Claire.
Having never used a sitter before I was a bit apprehensive, I didn't need to be! Claire was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and she did extra things without being asked! I received updates and pictures too. Thank you Claire!
