Purrfectly Pawsome Pet Sitting

Hi, my name is Wendy.

I love animals and I have lots of experience in caring for a large variety of pets including; Cats, Dogs, Birds, Reptiles, Rabbits, Guinea pigs and much more.

I own 3 cats; a Donskoy Sphynx (aged 3), a sassy Siamese (7), and a beautiful black foster fail (3). And we also have two permanent foster cats (aged 8 and 18).

I've been a volunteer cat fosterer for a local cat rescue for over 3 years. During this time I've gained a wealth of experience and knowledge for many different breeds of cats, ages and temperaments. I've fostered several senior cats over the years, including, a type 1 diabetic cat who needed twice daily home blood testing and insulin injections, a deaf cat, and a couple of FIV+ cats, feral cats, and cats with behavioural problems. I love fostering and have found it very rewarding to look after these beautiful cats while they wait for their forever homes and watch them go onto be happy, loved, and settled in their new homes.

We also have at home and a dog, 2 guinea pigs, 3 mediterranean tortoises, 2 Australian White's tree frogs, and a large tropical aquarium.

I have many years of experience with other animals. As a teenager I'd spend my Saturdays helping out at Stonebridge City Farm and on top of the pets that I own now, I have also kept; rodents, terrapins, canaries, budgerigars, a green Amazon parrot, an African grey parrot, chickens, a pet goat, and various cold water and tropical aquarium fish, including large South American chiclids.

🐾 I'm happy to take care of any type of animal, I can also feed pond fish, garden wildlife, and the resident stay cat, if required.

🏠 I can fetch post, put your bins out and return them, water house plants/garden plants/greenhouse, open and close curtains or blinds. And if you require me to, I can leave a radio on during the day (to sooth your pets or for added home security)

🏠 Home visits will be approximately 20 minutes and can be scheduled to best meet your pet's needs.

📸 Updates and photos of your pets after every home visit.

🏥 All cats must have up-to date vaccinations, flea and worming treatment.

👋 A free meet and greet will be required in your home with your pets present before your first home visit. This is so that we can get to meet eachother and the pets, and discuss your requirements in more detail.

🔑 Keys must be dropped off and collected by the client (unless given at the time of our meet and greet).

🚗Home visits outside of my 3 mile catchment area may incur a small mileage charge.

🏠Overnight stays are only available on Friday and Saturday evening.

✔️I am DBS checked and fully insured. Certificates are available to view on request.
