What I also learned is that cats are independent but that doesn't mean they don't need you! Some cats can get lonely and a little attention goes a long way to providing reassurance and companionship.

Catteries provide good care and some adapt but whilst others can become stressed. That is because cats are territorial and prefer their familiar surroundings (and for some, the journey there can also be unsettling).
