Hey, I’m Lorraine slightly older than most cat sitters on here but with that I bring much experience, having my own cats spanning the last year 34 years and caring for others’ cats is nothing new to me. Being early retired I’m flexible with your cats needs and timetable (except the 5am madness) and would treat your fur baby just as they were my own.

Having had cats my whole adult life I know how important it is to treat and care for them as a family member so to me it's important to know you trust the person you choose to care for your fur baby(s) while your away! So I'm always happy to meet a couple of times with both you and your pets before you go away.

As an adult I had my first cat for 14 years before he sadly crossed the rainbow, the next cat we got was our family cat he grew up with our children had adventures travelling Europe but sadly when we returned to the UK he passed away age 18.

Now I have 2 handsome brothers which we have had since kittens, now aged 2, one does have a disability so am fully away of any mishaps that can happen.

After living abroad for 6 years, we find ourselves back in the UK and rather than work a typical 9-5 job I wanted to do something with purpose and something I loved so cat sitting seemed the ideal choice. I just love the way each cat has its own character and uniqueness and getting to know there quirks is the fun of taking care of one of your most valued possessions, not to mention respecting your property at all times.

As part of the daily routine I clean litter, feed based on your instruction (treats also), groom and should the need arise wash any soiled cat bedding, not forgetting the most important aspect of giving so much love, play and fuss whilst your away.

If you kitty does require an emergency vet visit I am happy to take them.

Depending on my schedule with other kitty visits I will stay a minumum of 20 minutes per visit, longer if time allows.

I’m also happy to water plants indoors and out, take the bin out/in, collect mail and if you are planning on arriving back late I’d be happy to grab a few essentials in for you, all you have to do is ask.

Knowing that cats are happier in a place they are familiar with makes having a cat sitter the best option.
