I grew up in a household with cats, which gave me early, hands-on experience in understanding their needs, behaviours, and individual temperaments. Over the years, I have cared for a range of cats with different personalities, so I’m confident in creating a calm, safe, and stimulating environment for them. I currently own a Bengal cat, which means I am very familiar with managing a high-energy, intelligent breed that requires regular engagement, play, and attention, as well as plenty of affection. This has strengthened my ability to maintain routines, provide enrichment, and ensure pets remain happy and well-exercised. In addition, I care for an elderly dog who is blind. This has given me valuable experience in supporting animals with medical conditions and additional needs, including being attentive, patient, and consistent in their care. It has also developed my awareness of safety within the home environment and the importance of maintaining a predictable, secure space for animals. Overall, I am a responsible and attentive pet owner, with strong organisational skills, a good understanding of animal behaviour, and a genuine commitment to ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of pets in my care.
