Pet care experience
Claire’s Cat sitting
Hello, my names Claire and I have a lifelong love for cats! I’m currently a senior member of staff at a Cats Protection Adoption Centre, meaning caring for a range of cats is part of my day to day life. As well as growing up with cats of my own and pet-sitting for friends and family, I have a BSc in Zoo Biology. I also have previous experience in a vets, as well as at the RSPCA. At my current job I give medication to cats on a daily basis, as well as performing health checks and managing a variety of different ages and behaviours. I have cared for cats with a range of conditions including epilepsy, hyperthyroidism and diabetes. I have given insulin injections to even the wriggliest of cats! At work I have a particular love for cats that others may see as ‘difficult’ and spend time watching their body language and working with them to understand their behaviour. I have also handreared newborn kittens, which required around the clock care. It was definitely worth it to get to watch them grow into healthy young cats.

Claire was amazing, kept us up to date throughout. We came home to some very settled and happy cats!
Claire was amazing in every way. She visited before we left and kept us up to date with messages and photos. The perfect cat sitter🌟
Claire was very sweet - despite the fact that Samuel was a bit rude to her as he is nervous with new people!
Claire was a godsend! Our 2 old boys aren't often left, one is blind and the other very arthritic, but we needn't have worried. Not only were they fed and medicated, but were loved and groomed, with reassuring daily photos sent. Claire also helped us out with cat food delivery and our home was exceptionally well looked after. Claire is the best!
Claire is great. I know that my cats are being very well looked after with her, and she is good at keeping me updated on how they are getting along in my absence. This is the 3rd time I have used her and will continue to do so.
Multiple bookings with Claire now to look after our little cat. Thank you for looking after Snazzy so well again 😊
