I would take care in your home and tidy up after the cat (litter tray, dish, water and food area). If you need any plants watering this can also be arranged.
Information Dawn P. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your cat has any special requirements or behavours that I can account for. I have taken care of elderly pets with wobbles and deaf cats before, and also cats who are very timid. Also overly confident ones that love to try and escape the house ! I can manage, and also administer some medications too (please just discuss with me beforehand).
A typical day
It all depends on your cat's personality. My main focus is to make sure your cat feels safe and cared for, and this can take a little time but generally happens within the first visit or two. My tact is to offer plenty of strokes when approached, and some chit chat to calm any nerves. If your cat likes to play and has toys, I'll happily play! And if you have a garden and they're allowed outside, I'm happy to walk around the garden witht your pet too. Litter changes and dish cleaning obviously included, where needed.

Caring cat-fusser!
Cat care experience
Hi, I'm Dawn, based in Dagnall. I have grown up with cats as pets from the start of my life. I could not imagine a life without one or two of my own, until I met my husband who sadly is allergic. Since I am not able to have a cat in our house, I need to be able to get my cat fix elsewhere - and so I would love to help you with your cat sitting needs! I have been a member of cat in a flat/rover for over 5 years and have had many cat sitting jobs through this site alone. Most bookings are now repeat clients, and so reviews may look sporadic but I can provide full references. I'm able to cover any area within a 15mi radius of Dagnall however where overnights are required this can be extended. I also work in Berkhamsted so I'd be able to cover the central Berkhamsted are. If unsure, please just ask, and I will try to make it work. I offer home drop-in visits once or twice per day or overnight where needed (7 days a week) and will fuss, feed and spend at around 30-45 minutes quality time with your cat per visit. If you'd like a longer visit for your cat(s), just say! If you want to discuss a booking, please feel free to email me and I will do my best to help.

Cheers Dawn, penny and house look great thanks again. Kieran
Dawn was excellent with our elderly cat and now home cat looks we’ll feed and happy

Dawn was everything we wanted - patient, attentive and most importantly, genuinely enjoyed spending time with our cat who was not used to us being away. We felt comfortable having Dawn look after casper and it made us worry less whilst away. Cheers Dawn!
Dawn was absolutely amazing! There was a serious heat wave while we were gone and with Moët being a long haired car in a stuffy flat we were worried about how she’d handle the heat. Dawn worked from home on those hot days to be able to check on Moët more often and made sure she had ice in her water. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!
