I schedule pet care into my daily and weekly routine by planning my time around the animals' needs. I discuss with the owner and set aside specific times each day for feeding, cleaning, exercise, and health checks, ensuring these tasks are completed consistently.

About Elizabeth J.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I prioritise safety, trust, and a calm environment when caring for pets in my home or in a pet owner's home. I ensure I prioritise my bond with the pet I’m caring for, and I treat them as if they were my own. Where necessary, I arrange a meet and greet to help build trust and ensure both the owner and the animal feel comfortable and confident that the pet is in safe hands.
Information Elizabeth J. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know their routine, dietary needs, behaviour, medical requirements, and any likes or dislikes, to ensure they receive safe, consistent, and personalised care.
A typical day
A typical day caring for pets includes feeding, cleaning living areas, carrying out basic health checks, and ensuring each animal is comfortable and settled. I would provide regular interaction and enrichment through walks, playtime, and gentle handling. Fun activities include interactive games for dogs, play and bonding time with cats, and enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated. My focus is always on maintaining a safe, happy, and well-cared-for environment.

Zoology grad with a love for cats
Cat care experience
I am a BSc Zoology graduate with extensive hands-on experience working with all different types of cats. I have worked with the RSPCA, where I gained practical experience in animal welfare, handling, and care in a professional setting. In addition, I have over 15 years of personal experience owning and caring for cats, giving me a strong understanding of feline behaviour, health, and day-to-day care needs.
Reviews

Elizabeth was great, she went above and beyond with the cat. The cat was well cared for and appreciated the company. Highly recommend.

My cat and I had a great experience with Elizabeth! Everything went really smoothly and she took photos of my cat enjoying cuddles and fuss from her, which were lovely to see while I was away. I'd have no hesitation asking Elizabeth to cat-sit again, or recommending her to friends.

Elizabeth was really thorough with her care of our cat and even managed to get him to come to say hi and give some affection despite normally finding it hard to relax around new people. Thank you, Elizabeth!

Elizabeth is clearly passionate about what she does and provided excellent care and attention for the duration of her visits.
