Pet care fits really naturally into our routine! Because we both work for the NHS in flexible roles, we’re able to plan our days around visits, walks and check-ins. This means we can be available for morning, lunchtime and evening visits depending on what your pet needs! As a team, Josh and I can also share responsibilities, which gives us even more flexibility and reliability. We’re used to fitting pet care into our weekly routine and prioritising it, so your pets will always have consistent, dedicated time and attention. We’re especially mindful with cats to keep to their usual routines, as we know how important that is for their comfort and wellbeing, and we’re equally happy getting out for regular dog walks throughout the day! Just let us know what works best for you and your pet, and we’ll do our best to accommodate! 🐾💜

Your pet’s safety, comfort and routine are always our top priority! 🐾💜 When caring for pets in their own home, we do everything we can to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. We stick closely to your pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, litter tray or garden access, and any medication if needed. We take time to build trust with each pet, especially cats who may be a little shy at first, and always go at their pace. We’re very respectful of your home and make sure everything is left exactly as we found it. We’re also happy to send regular updates, photos and little messages so you can feel reassured while you’re away! For dog walks, we prioritise safe routes and environments, keep dogs on lead unless agreed otherwise, and always make sure they’re secure, happy and well exercised. As NHS professionals and DBS checked sitters, trust and reliability are really important to us. We treat every pet as if they were our own and every home with care and respect! If you have any specific instructions or preferences, we’re always happy to follow them closely to make sure your pet gets the best possible care! 🐾💜

Before caring for your pet, we love to learn as much as possible about them so we can give them the best experience! 🐾💜 It’s really helpful to know their usual routine, including feeding times, walk schedules and any specific preferences they have. We’d also like to know about their personality, for example whether they’re shy, energetic, affectionate or prefer their own space, so we can approach them in the way that suits them best. For cats especially, knowing their favourite hiding spots, toys or little quirks really helps us make them feel comfortable! Please let us know about any medical needs, medications, dietary requirements or allergies, as well as any behaviours to be aware of, such as nervousness around new people, other animals or certain situations. For dogs, it’s also helpful to know about lead behaviour, recall, and how they are around other dogs and people when out on walks. We always arrange a relaxed, informal meet and greet before any bookings begin so we can get to know you and your pet, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and happy! The more we know, the better we can tailor our care and make sure your pet feels safe, happy and well looked after while you’re away! 🐾💜
A typical day
A typical day really depends on your pet, as we always tailor our care to suit their personality and routine! 🐾💜 For cats, our visits are a mix of care and companionship. We’ll make sure they’re fed, have fresh water and a clean litter tray, and then spend quality time with them, whether that’s playing with their favourite toys, giving them fuss and cuddles, or just sitting quietly with them if they prefer a calmer approach. We’re very used to reading cat behaviour, so we’ll always go at their pace and make sure they feel safe and relaxed! For dogs, the day usually includes fun, engaging walks suited to their energy levels, along with plenty of attention and enrichment. Whether your dog loves a long walk, a gentle stroll, or just some company and playtime, we’ll make sure they’re happy and well exercised! We also love adding little touches like treats (if allowed!), playtime and lots of affection, so your pet feels cared for and not just “checked in on”. We’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages too, so you can see how much fun they’re having! 🐾💜

Hi There! My names Emma and I’m based in the Radyr/Fairwater/Danescourt area of Cardiff. I work for the NHS as a Senior Public Health Practitioner in Cwm Taf Morgannwg. My hours in work are flexible so I can fit in lots of kitty visits! I grew up around multiple cats and currently have my own two little fur babies, Jerry and Roly who are very pampered and spoilt puss’! I’m looking to restart cat sitting simply because I really enjoy it! I love meeting and hanging out with all types of cats and I’m happy and experienced all aspects of kitty care including administering medications. I’m DBS checked for my job so you can guarantee your cat will be in safe hands. I’m new to this website but I have experience with previous pet sitting through websites. We love having Emma and Josh look after Sooty and Taika. We've tried a lot of sitters in the past and can't say enough how important it is to use to have someone with trust and the boys get on with (even though they are scaredycats!). We always feel confident they will be looked after and that Emma will follow all our crazy pawrent requests. Emma and Josh are both lovely, warm people who very obviously care so much about cats. We felt very reassued through messages and photos that Bean and Sully were being well looked after throughout the week, especially as Bean was unexpectedly poorly the day before we went away. Will definitely be calling on their services again and would recommend them to everyone!
Emma communicated well before and during visits. She provided daily updates with pictures and I am happy knowing churchie got some play time. Will be using her services in the future!
