I ensure before all new clients are taken on that we meet and go through everything, especially in case your cat(s) are in need of extra care/medical assistance. During a booking, if your cat clearly doesn't want to be touched, that's fine! I will keep them company and respect their boundaries. Not all cats want fusses or hugs, and that's totally fine.

Information Hazel K. would like to know about your pet

It's very, very important that your cat is flea-free. Whilst I understand cats don't *always* need treating, especially indoor ones, please just double-check your furry friends haven't got any of those nasty bugs, as my older cat has a horrible allergy to flea bites, and it causes he immense pain and skin problems if she gets just one bite from them.

A typical day

A typical day of cat sitting goes as follows: - Wake up, bother my cats for two minutes, and then head on out to you! - Play with your cat, keep them company, and ensure they're happy and fed. Clean up any messes, ensure any litter is cleaned up. - Head on home to feed my two who pretend they've never been fed a day in their life, all whilst I'm actually the hungry one (They have an auto-feeder, but naturally, never fed, obviously.)

Cat care experience

Hi there! My family have owned cats before I was able to walk! We've always taken in rescue kitties and given them loving homes. My current cats are: Fudge—one I've taken off the streets as a stray, and Noire—born to one of my long-term clients, Stella! I've dealt with all sorts of cats, from aggressive ones (We had one called Meg, she liked to bite a lot) to the shy ones that don't really want you about, but can't be left to their own devices, right the way to ones with health issues and cattitude! I've also got plenty of experience with cats of all ages, as I used to be the one to get any new kitties used to the house, as well as caring for them as they got older. No matter the age - or temperament - of your feline friend, if they approve of me, then I'll be more than happy to look after them! What do you get when booking with me? - A vigilant sitter who keeps track of your cat's behaviour and health - A caring sitter who respects your cat's boundaries - A communicative sitter who not only fills out Rover cards but will send you videos on WhatsApp too, so you can be extra sure of your cat's happiness and safety - A friendly sitter who is willing to collect the post, feed the fish (if you have some), and make sure any mess your cat might make is cleaned up - An understanding sitter, who provides a free emergency visit (provided you didn't ask me to pop the key through the letterbox) if you're delayed getting home!

I cannot recommend Hazel enough! She took wonderful care of my cat during the heatwave. I was so impressed by her resourcefulness—she put ice in his water bowls to help cool down the rooms and ensure he stayed comfortable. My cat was well-fed, perfectly cared for, and clearly liked her a lot. If you’re looking for a responsible and caring sitter, look no further!

Hazel did an amazing job with my kitties while we were away. She sent loads of videos and we could see that our cats were well looked after.

Hazel was very respectful and attuned to my cat's wants and needs, understanding when she needed space or desired attention. Hazel sent plenty of pictures and videos updating me on how my cat was getting on and made sure I knew the situation. I'd glady book Hazel again.

I was worried about leaving our young cat alone for an extended period but Hazel was incredibly reassuring and even offered to stay longer if our cat was struggling. Hazel's brilliant updates showed our cat was calm and happy in Hazel's presence. It's wonderful to have a trustworthy cat sitter you can rely upon
