Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I currently work part-time as a babysitter and have plenty of flexibility to dedicate time and attention to your cats. I am available on weekdays after 12pm and weekends after 2pm, with the ability to adjust these times if given enough notice. Whether it's feeding, cleaning litter trays, administering basic care or simply spending quality time playing and keeping your cats company, I always make sure they receive the attention and care they need while you're away.

About Iman A.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in an owner's home, I always start by communicating with the owner to understand their cat's individual needs, diet, personality and daily routine. I also ask whether there are any areas of the home they would prefer their cats not to access and I make sure those boundaries are respected during my visits. Upon arriving, I take a quick look around the home to ensure the environment is safe, checking for anything that could potentially harm the cat and making sure windows, doors and any other hazards are secure. Before carrying out any tasks, I like to introduce myself to the cats and allow them to approach me at their own pace. This helps them feel comfortable and reduces any stress or anxiety they may experience from having a new person in their space. Throughout my visit, I follow the owner's instructions carefully, ensuring feeding schedules are maintained, fresh water is always available, litter trays are kept clean and any medications or special care requirements are carried out as directed. I also make time for play, enrichment and companionship, adapting my approach to suit each cat's personality—whether they enjoy lots of interaction or prefer a quieter presence. Before leaving, I double-check that the home is secure and that the cats are safe, comfortable and settled. I believe consistency, patience and attention to detail are key to providing cats with the highest standard of care while their owners are away.

Dedicated cat lover and sitter
Cat care experience
I have over 12 years of hands-on experience owning and caring for cats, and I've been surrounded by family members and friends who have owned cats for much longer. Growing up around cats helped develop a genuine understanding of their unique personalities, behaviours, and needs, and it inspired a lifelong love for them that eventually led me to raise my own two cats. Over the years, I have become the trusted person that family members rely on whenever they are away on holiday, working long hours, or simply need an extra helping hand with their cats. I have experience caring for cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats who require extra patience and attention. I have also looked after cats for neighbours and family friends, including supporting pregnant cats and helping care for new mothers and their kittens when their owners were unavailable. This has given me valuable experience in monitoring behaviour, ensuring comfort, maintaining feeding routines, and providing a calm, safe environment during what can be a stressful time for both cats and owners. I understand how important it is to keep cats comfortable in their own surroundings and to follow their established routines. Whether your cat is energetic and social or shy and independent, I take the time to build trust, provide companionship, and ensure they receive the care, attention, and affection they deserve while you're away.
