Oral medication administration

Safety, trust & environment

Caring for a cat in the owner’s home requires maintaining their established routines to minimise stress, as cats are highly territorial and sensitive to change. Adhering to specific feeding/medication schedules, and providing companionship while respecting the owner's property.

Information Laura S. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for someone's pet, you must gather essential information to maintain the animal's security and routine. Feeding schedule, litter tray location and habits, exercise and play, house rules. Vet information, medication, emergency contact. Triggers and fears, escape risks (in indoor pet). Home access, security codes, cleaning supplies, camera disclosure.

A typical day

Using feather teasers or mouse-like toys on a string to mimic prey, encouraging jumping, pouncing, and chasing. Gentle brushing sessions and relaxing massages to help them feel calm and pampered.

Cat Sitting Service

Cat care experience

Hi :) I'm Laura. I have two cats, Cheddar a cheeky ginger long haired rascal and Paws (named by the kids!) an outdoorsy black shorthair. I have always had cats in my life and I am an absolute animal person. I’m very responsible, reliable and enjoy meeting and bonding with other people's cats. I am happy to administer tablets and flea treatments if needed.

Laura was incredibly lovely and our 3 girls were very well looked after! 💕 We got regular updates, pics and videos and she even changed our Feliway and took the bin out for us!

This was my first time with Laura as a pet sitter and I’m already thinking about when I’ll book her again. She took the time to write down preferences and needs and to ensure she knew their routine -including meds. She sent daily photos and updates, she made me feel completely at ease and was very caring, I highly recommend her:)
