I am a stay at home mum of 3 school aged children. After school drop off, my favourite thing to do is grab a coffee and go on a lovely (childfree) walk! I know tones of great walks and love finding new spots so no two walks are the same. Weekends and holidays my kids will be off school. We tend to go more child friendly places like lauriston Castle, Cammo and Cramond.

I have my doggy first aid and kit! I am scripted and ready for things like: overheating (used to own a bulldog) anaphylactic reactions (I can administer injections) , kennel cough etc. We have a large fenced garden. Dog will sleep in our kitchen area/ utility if boarding. If its just a day visitor they will have the run of the downstairs.

As above, please let me know any specific needs. Ability, allergies, sleep preferences and please provide food. My children will most likely try and slip them bits of chicken etc 🙃 If they have a sensitive tummy PLEASE let me know!
A typical day
Breakfast (I always separate dogs when eating, even the most docile dogs can become protective around food in unfamiliar places and dogs) We drop kids off at school, then off on our big walk! During the day is doggy led.. play in the garden, chill, toys, belly rubs etc. We will walk to pick up kids from school. Evening: we live by the canal and marina so another short walk before bed. Kids like to feed the swans. Everything is dog dependant.. I will never push a dog beyond their ability. If they can only manage short walks in cool conditions that is totally fine! If they want to come running with me in the evening I’d love that too!

We have a small dog who isn’t fussed with cats. We used to own a very old cat. We love all creatures great and small.

I travel for work regularly, and Madeleine takes care of my two pug dogs. They absolutely love going on their holidays to Madeleine’s and don’t want to leave! We are so lucky to have such a loving safe place to send our babies. I could not recommend Madeleine and her family more! Thank you xxxx
