Safety, trust & environment

Unfortunately at this stage I am unable to provide care in my own home (as it may make Rupert & Dobby a bit grumpy!). However I am more than happy to travel to your home and provide drop in care, day care (when I am available during the day) and dog walks. I will completely respect your home and follow your instructions according to your home and your pet, and will tailor my services accordingly. I am more than happy to provide updates and photos of your pet whilst you are away from your home. All resources/equipment such as pet food, pet bowls, litter boxes & litter, cleaning supplies, collars/leads etc will need to be provided and easy to access in your home. I ask that the environment that I care for your pet in is well prepared in order for me to complete excellent care for your pet/s. Let's schedule a free meet and greet to see if we would be a good fit, and we can arrange key exchanges according to your preferences.

Information Molly P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, behaviours or medications they may require/that I should be aware of, and their routine will need to be showed to me during the meet and greet. I would also need to be provided with any veterinary and insurance details in case of an emergency, plus an emergency contact number if I cannot get hold of you. All resources/equipment such as pet food, pet bowls, litter boxes & litter, cleaning supplies, collars/leads etc will need to be provided and easy to access in your home. I ask that the environment that I care for your pet in is well prepared in order for me to complete excellent care for your pet/s. For cat sitting, it is preferable if your cat stays indoors if you are going on holiday so I can ensure they are safe. However, this can be discussed on a case by case basis! I do not have a preference for breeds - I’ve taken care of pure bred cats to moggies, tiny Jack Russells, to high energy Border Collies, to rescue mixed breeds with specific behavioural challenges.

A typical day

For cats: I typically offer morning and evening drop ins for feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes and play/fuss time, according to what your cat enjoys! These are typically 20-30 minutes per drop in. For dogs: for drop ins, I am happy to pop in to feed, refresh water, let them out for the toilet and play outside. For walks, I am happy to take them out in your local area or elsewhere. I can also provide day care in your home when I am available. I am happy to tailor my services accordingly to you and your pet - please just let me know what you need.

Cat care experience

Hi! My name is Molly and I'm 29. I’m a Project Manager and I’m based in Kenilworth. I am available for both drop in cat sitting and dog walking. I have owned cats and dogs my whole life - my family home never had less than two cats and two dogs (and lots of other animals for that matter!). I am a huge animal lover in general and have years of experience in taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and horses. They are incredibly special creatures and I understand how daunting it can be to leave them when you go away or when leaving them for extended periods of time, so rest assured they would be well looked after in my care. I currently have my own two indoor cats - Rupert, my ginger boy, and Dobby, my black and white boy. They are both rescues from the same rescue centre. Dobby is incredibly sociable, follows me round my house all day and just loves a fuss. He has FLUTD and has to have a special diet, so I have experience managing conditions such as these. Rupert is my shy boy - he's very nervous of people and spends most of his time under my bed or behind the sofa - but he loves to explore when he thinks no one is looking! I am experienced with all types of cats & dogs and their personalities - not much phases me at all and I will make sure my services are tailored to your pet’s specific needs. I am happy to administer medication if needed. My drop in times for cat/dog care are typically 6-9am in the mornings and from 5pm in the evenings. At weekends and bank holidays, I can be more flexible with the timings. I work hybrid, so if your dog needs a walk on one of my home-working days, I can make that happen during my lunch hour! Please just enquire for more information on this. Drop me a message for a free meet and greet and I look forward to hearing from you!

Molly was really great with our 3 cats. She was happy to do the insulin injections for our girl. We got regular updates, clear communication and all the agreed visits at the right time. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for cat drop ins

Molly always takes such good care of Izzy. We receive regular updates and photos so we can see how she’s doing, which we really appreciate. Izzy is always happy when she’s been looked after by Molly! 😊

Great service from Molly. First time using Cat in a Flat and first time leaving our six month old kitten by herself overnight. Very much appreciated the updates and photos and felt that Mabel was in good hands. Would ask Molly to sit again for us.

Molly is brilliant! This is the second time I’ve had her look after Dolores and she went above and beyond. She spent time with her, fussed her, sent videos and pictures and kept in contact throughout. I’m really happy with how Molly does things and love that her and Dolores have a little bond between them now. Ever so grateful for her!
