Hi, I’m Neda, a lifelong cat lover based in Heywood. I've had cats all my life and currently share my home with Poppy, my sassy, strong-willed queen who definitely rules the house! My first cat, Sherbie, was my best friend growing up and lived to the incredible age of 22. Having lived with cats and been cat sitting for so many years, I’ve learned that they all have their own personalities, routines and ways of communicating. That’s something I really value when looking after other people’s cats. I don’t believe in treating every cat the same I’ll take the time to understand what your cat is comfortable with and adapt each visit to their needs. Some cats want lots of fuss and attention, some want playtime, and others are happier with a quiet visit and plenty of space. I’m happy to follow their lead. I’ll follow your instructions and their usual routine carefully, while keeping an eye on the little things that tell me how they’re feeling. I’m particularly understanding of shy, nervous or independent cats and won’t rush them or force interaction (although they do tend to warm to me quite quickly!) Most importantly, I genuinely love cats and really enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. My aim is for your cat to feel safe, comfortable and cared for in their own home while you’re away. I'll always arrange a meet and greet before a sit, so we can meet in person, go through your cat’s routine and make sure we’re the right fit for each other. I think it’s important that you feel completely comfortable with me looking after your cat, and that your cat feels comfortable with me too. Safety, trust & environment
I always like to get as much information as possible before a sit, including your cat’s usual routine, personality and any little quirks. I find it’s these small details, along with paying close attention to their behaviour, that help me build a bond with each cat. During visits, I’ll feed them, clean their food and water bowls, make sure they have fresh water and clean their litter tray. I’ll also offer cuddles and playtime depending on what your cat enjoys, while always respecting their space if they’d rather have some quiet time. I'll also send you a picture or video and an update to let you know how they are doing. Additional tasks can be agreed in advance. I’m happy to pick up post, open or close curtains and make sure cat waste is disposed of outside in the bins, all according to your instructions.

Schedule
Depending on how many cats I’m visiting, I offer morning and evening visit slots. Please feel free to message me with your preferred times and I’ll always try to accommodate them where possible. I take on a limited number of sits at a time so that I can give each cat the time, attention and care they deserve, rather than rushing between lots of visits. Before every new sit, I’ll arrange a meet and greet so we can go through your cat’s routine, meet each other and make sure we’re the right fit.
- Neda can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- If your cat has any special needs, medical requirements or anything else you think I should know, please send me a message before booking so we can discuss it. I’ll always do my best to make sure your cat is comfortable and well cared for, and the more I know about them and their needs in advance, the better prepared I can be.
