Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m always home on weekends and work from home 50% of the time during the week. When I’m home, I’m available to care for your pet. I walk my three dogs twice a day and make sure they get plenty of attention and playtime. If I’m scheduled to work away from home, I unfortunately wouldn’t be available for pet care.

When I care for pets in their own home, I do everything I can to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow all instructions carefully to keep their routine as normal as possible. When walking dogs, safety is my absolute top priority. I always check that collars or harnesses are secure before we leave, use sturdy leashes, and stay alert to our surroundings. With my own dogs, I even attach an AirTag to their collars in case of emergencies, and I’m happy to offer that extra layer of safety for your dog too if you’d like. Your pet’s security and happiness mean everything to me, and I care for every dog as if they were my own.

For cats and other pets, knowing their personality—whether they’re social, shy, or independent—helps me tailor my approach. The more information you can share, the better I can ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day with me is centred around keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and in their normal routine. I’ll start with feeding and a bit of calm time to help them settle, especially if they’re missing you. For dogs, this includes walks tailored to their energy levels—whether that’s a relaxed stroll or something more active. At home, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. For cats and more independent pets, I focus on gentle interaction, play sessions with toys, and giving them space when they need it. I’m always guided by each pet’s personality. I’ll also keep on top of any care needs like fresh water, feeding schedules, and general cleanliness, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you know how they’re getting on. Above all, I aim to create a calm, safe, and enjoyable environment where your pet feels relaxed and well cared for.

I’ve had a lifelong love of cats, having grown up with five of them at home. This gave me a strong understanding of different feline personalities—from playful and energetic to more independent and reserved. I’m confident with all aspects of cat care, including feeding routines, litter tray maintenance, administering basic care, and most importantly, making sure each cat feels safe and comfortable in their own environment.
