I currently have two cats and regularly pet sit for friends and family, so I'm experienced in caring for cats with different personalities and needs. I place a great deal of importance on pet welfare, comfort, security, and attention to detail. I am patient, gentle, and understanding, and I genuinely love animals. In addition to caring for my own cats and regularly pet sitting for friends and family, I previously volunteered with the Riding for the Disabled Association, supporting children with disabilities during horse riding sessions. This experience strengthened my compassion, patience, and ability to work confidently with both people and animals. In the future, I hope to establish my own animal charity or cat rescue, as helping animals has always been a passion of mine.

Nicola did a great job of looking after our two cats. We felt secure knowing she was looking after them. We would definitely ask her to look after them again when we next go away if she is available.
I have known Nicola for over 20 years, and during that time she has regularly cared for my cat, Binx, and my reactive Border Collie, Roo, whenever I've been away on holiday or travelling for work. There are very few people I would trust with my pets, but Nicola has consistently shown that they are in the safest and most caring hands. She is kind, patient, and incredibly considerate, always putting their wellbeing first. She has a natural intuition with animals, is quick to recognise any potential risks or changes in their behaviour, and takes every precaution to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Nicola is also a devoted owner to her own two cats, who are clearly loved and exceptionally well looked after. Her genuine affection for animals, combined with her reliability, responsibility, and calm nature, makes her someone I would recommend without hesitation. I have complete confidence that Nicola would make an outstanding cat sitter, and I would happily entrust my own pets to her care at any time.

Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible, as I have recently completed my postgraduate studies and am taking a break from academia while I consider my next career steps. This means I can offer a high level of availability for both drop-in visits and overnight stays, including weekdays and, in many cases, weekends.
