Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as animals have always been a huge part of my life. Alongside running my pet care services, I also work part-time as a Registered Veterinary Nurse during the week, which allows me to maintain my clinical skills while still offering flexible and reliable pet sitting and drop-in visits. Because I work part-time shifts, I’m able to plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets in my care receive the time, attention and routine they need 🐶🐱 On days I am not in practice, I have much greater flexibility for longer visits, pet sitting, walks and check-ins. When I do have a shift, I ensure visits are scheduled around my working hours so pets are never left without the care and companionship they deserve. Being a veterinary nurse also means I’m very used to structured routines and planning ahead, so you can feel confident that your pet’s feeding times, walks, medication and daily routine will always be followed carefully 🩺🐾 Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so spending my free time looking after pets fits perfectly into my lifestyle 🤍

I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine and individual needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or shy and cautious, I adapt my approach to ensure they feel safe and relaxed. I am passionate about fear-free handling, meaning I always aim to minimise stress and create calm, positive experiences for pets. This is especially important for nervous animals or those who may struggle with new environments. I will always respect your home and your pet’s usual routine — following feeding schedules, walk routines and medication instructions carefully 🐶🐱 As a pet owner myself, I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone new. A typical day
I love making sure pets stay happy, stimulated and comfortable while their owners are away. Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to suit their personality, energy levels and routine 🐶🐱 For dogs, this can include: 🐾 Walks and outdoor adventures 🐾 Playtime with their favourite toys 🐾 Enrichment games and gentle training 🐾 Lots of cuddles and attention For cats and smaller pets, I focus on keeping things calm and engaging with: 🐾 Interactive play sessions 🐾 Enrichment toys and stimulation 🐾 Grooming and gentle handling (if they enjoy it!) 🐾 Quiet companionship for more independent cats Because of my background as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I’m also very aware of a pet’s physical and emotional needs. I always ensure activities are safe, appropriate for their age and health, and that pets never feel overwhelmed. Most importantly, I aim to make every visit feel like a fun and positive experience, so your pet feels relaxed, cared for and happy while you’re away 🐾💚

Cats hold a very special place in my heart, and throughout my veterinary nursing career I have developed a real passion for providing calm, gentle and stress-free care for our feline friends 🐾💚 I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 10 years of experience, caring for cats in veterinary practice and in their home environments. I understand that cats can be sensitive to change, so my approach always focuses on patience, calm handling and respecting each cat’s individual personality. I am also proud to be an ISFM Cat Friendly Advocate, which means I follow recognised best practices for reducing stress and promoting positive experiences for cats 🐱✨ To further develop my feline knowledge, I have recently completed additional training in cat-friendly handling, allowing me to provide even more gentle, understanding care for nervous or sensitive cats. Paige has been an absolute superstar with Cheddar and Skittle. The fact that they warmed to her so quickly is a testament to her kind and gentle nature, she truly understood their personalities and tended to their individual needs. We didn’t worry about them once and her detailed pet cards were both a source of entertainment and a much needed source of relief being away from our pets! I can’t recommend her highly enough.
