I work flexibly around Southampton so I know the area well and can usually be quite accommodating for visit times. I really enjoy pet care and love animals, so it's always a bonus to my day to see and treat any pet.

Please let me know what your pets preferences are and how I can keep them safe and happy. I personally like to be extra prepared because I do the same for my cat, so I like knowing usual and emergency vet details, where carriers /cages are if needed. Favourite toys, foods and comfort items are good to know too!
A typical day
When petsitting, I make sure that the basics are consistently tended to - food and drink and cleanliness. This leaves all the rest of my time for playing, exploring, stimulating and pampering which is my favourite bit.

I am Rachael, I am a community therapist working around Southampton. I have had my wonderful cat, Chickpea, for 10 years and have also looked after cats regularly during this time. I know every cat is unique and different, which is why I totally love them. I do not own a dog, but I totally love them, enjoy going on walkies and playing and tiring pups out. Otherwise I love gardening and paddleboarding or swimming in the nearby rivers and sea.

Rachael looked after our cat Layla whilst we were away for just over two weeks and we couldn’t be happier with the job she did. We met beforehand and felt very reassured that we were leaving her in good hands. Received lovely pic and video updates throughout the trip and came home to a very happy cat. Highly recommended!
Rachael looked after our boys Georgie & Morgan we felt relaxed away and knew they were in good hands! We had video and pic updates everyday! We met Rachael before and she was friendly and chatty and our cats loved her straight away! We highly recommend Rachael and we will definitely rebook in the future!
Rachael was excellent and we came home to two happy cats. Received regular photos and updates, couldn't have asked for more. Could not recommend highly enough!
I had the pleasure of having Rachael look after my boys over Easter, and I'm very pleased with the care they received. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my cats, taking the time to play with them and look after them. They were relaxed and happy when I returned, which reassured me a lot.
