Hello, I’m a dedicated cat sitter offering a calm, reliable and high-standard service for both you and your pet. Having had cats all my life—including my first cat who lived to 21—I’m highly attuned to their individual personalities and needs. Whether your cat is affectionate and playful or more reserved and routine-driven, I take a gentle, patient approach to ensure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for in your absence. I currently have my own cat, so I fully understand the level of trust involved in leaving your pet and home in someone else’s care. Each visit is carried out with attention to detail, from feeding and fresh water to litter care, enrichment and companionship, all tailored to your cat’s usual routine. Alongside pet care, I maintain a respectful and discreet presence in your home. I’m happy to manage small household tasks such as watering plants, bringing in post, and keeping everything clean and orderly. For added peace of mind, I work within a university setting and am DBS checked. I also provide thoughtful updates and photos, so you can feel reassured that everything is running smoothly while you’re away. As someone who travels myself, I understand the value of a dependable, high-quality sitter—my aim is to offer exactly that.

Rachel has a great bond with my cat Martha. She also feeds a stray cat 🐈⬛ who was left behind when her owner went into care. She really cares about them and I trust her completely with both of them. I would happily recommend Rachel 🐾

Schedule
I work for the university & do work from home a lot but have always been able to fit my cat sitting jobs in around my work. I am reliable & flexible & have had to manage last changes because of owners last minute travel delays etc.
