Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, as I currently have an hybrid working arrangement and work from home around 3 days per week. I’m also available most weekday evenings after 5pm and throughout weekends, giving me lots of time for dog walks, play and companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so I look forward to fitting my schedule around their needs and making sure they get the love and attention they deserve.

I understand that not all pets are comfortable around cats, so if I’m caring for your pet in my home, I can easily keep them separate from my two cats. I have plenty of space to create a calm, pet-friendly environment and I’ll always make sure your pet feels safe and settled. Your pet’s comfort will be my priority, whether that means supervised introductions or keeping them in their own space.

Please let me know about their routine, preferences and any do’s or don’ts (such as favourite toys, foods to avoid or how they are with other animals). I’m experienced with both younger pets full of energy and older ones who may need extra patience, so I can adjust to whatever suits them best.
A typical day
A typical day with me will include plenty of walks, playtime and affection. I like to make sure dogs are stimulated both physically and mentally — whether that’s through exploring new routes in the neighbourhood, sniffing out all the exciting smells in the park or playing their favourite games. For dogs who enjoy a gentler pace, I’m just as happy to spend quiet time together with cuddles and company. I’ll always adapt to your dog’s needs and routine so they feel comfortable and content.

Cat care experience
As a proud cat mum to two lovely cats — Charlie (female, 5) and Percy (male, 13) — I know just how special our feline companions are and how much peace of mind it brings to know they’re being cared for properly while you’re away. Having lived with cats at different life stages, I’m experienced in looking after both energetic younger cats and older ones who might need a little extra patience and gentleness. Whether it’s feeding, playtime or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure your cat feels comfortable and cared for. I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality and will always give them the same love and attention I give my own.

Sophie regularly takes care of my cat Freddie when I’m away. She’s so attentive and always makes sure he has regular meals, access to water, fun toys and has also administered flea/wormer treatments when needed.
Sophie regularly looks after my corgi when we go away for a few days. He adores her and gets an excitable waggy tail every time he sees her! She is so great at providing care, making him feel safe and loved. She always takes him on at least 2 walks a day and sends me regular photos of my little baby which I love to receive. I couldn’t recommend her enough!
