Hi, my name is Tanya. I’m a dental receptionist and treatment co-ordinator, and I’ve always lived in London. I decided to become a cat sitter because I absolutely adore cats and truly believe they are part of the family. Although I had cats growing up, two years ago we decided to get a cat as a present for our son — and the moment I met her, I completely fell in love. My son named her Poppy. Poppy is an indoor cat, and as a first-time indoor cat owner, I wanted to learn everything possible to give her the happiest and healthiest life. I joined online cat groups where people share advice, stories, and photos, and I also follow Jackson Galaxy, who has taught me so much about cat behaviour and care. I can’t express enough how much I love Poppy. She is very spoiled, and people often joke that I’m becoming a “crazy cat lady” because my house is full of cat toys, trees, and enrichment activities to keep her entertained!
