I’m a lifelong cat lover with over 10 years of experience caring for my own cats. I also have nearly a year of experience volunteering as a cat fosterer for a UK animal rescue, providing a safe and comfortable home for cats while they waited for their forever families. I’ve also looked after cats for friends and neighbours, including recently caring for a nearly 20-year-old senior cat for two months. This has given me experience with older cats who may need a little more patience, attention and a gentle approach. I understand that every cat has their own personality and routine. Whether your cat is friendly and playful or shy and prefers their own space, I’ll take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to provide feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime and plenty of attention (if your cat wants it!), as well as regular photo and message updates so you know how your cat is doing. 🐱

When caring for cats in their own home, I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep to the cat’s usual feeding and daily routine as much as possible. I make sure doors and windows are secure and take extra care when entering and leaving the property. I keep feeding and litter areas clean and tidy, and I respect each cat’s personality and boundaries, especially if they are shy or nervous around new people. I’ll also keep an eye on their general wellbeing during each visit and let the owner know if I notice anything unusual. I treat every home with care and respect, and I’m happy to provide regular photo and message updates for peace of mind.

I have known Ting Ting (who I always call Cathy) in person for almost two decades, and I can say without a doubt that she is one of the most kind-hearted and genuine people you will ever meet. She always cares deeply about others, but her true passion shows through her incredible devotion to animals. When it comes to pet sitting, Cathy’s experience is exceptional. She was a cat owner herself for over ten years, caring for two cats that required intensive medical attention. One of her cats had a serious heart condition, and the other suffered from a hereditary joint disease. Managing those conditions was a massive challenge, but through her patience and excellent caring techniques, both of her cats lived happy lives until they were 14 years old. That alone proves how capable and attentive she is with special-needs pets. Cathy also recently sat my own senior cat for two whole months. My cat is 20 years old, which means taking care of my cat requires going many steps further than looking after a younger cat—it involves strict daily routines, and extra patience. Cathy handled everything wonderfully. When my cat returned home, he was in very good shape and completely stress-free. On top of all this, Cathy continuously fosters stray cats in her free time. Seeing her open her home to rescue animals really shows how big her heart is for cats. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, highly experienced, and naturally loving to take care your furry family members, I cannot recommend Cathy highly enough. She will treat your pets like her own!

Schedule
I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to fit pet care easily into my daily routine. I’m available for visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, and I can be flexible depending on your cat’s usual routine and needs.
